Thực chất, nàng là một hiện thân của Thao Thiết – một trong "Long sinh cửu tử" (chín đứa con của rồng) nổi tiếng với sự tham ăn và sức mạnh to lớn. Đồng hành cùng nàng là Thường Thanh, một công tử nho nhã, tài hoa, người giữ vai trò quản sự tại Thiên Thừa các. Hai người cùng nhau trải qua những câu chuyện dở khóc dở cười nhưng cũng không kém phần nguy hiểm trong thế giới thần thoại đầy rẫy yêu ma và những âm mưu tranh đoạt.
